What's the best way to convince my husband to let me paint 2 walls in our new place turquoise, besides sex?

It's an older condo, with a 70's looking (to me anyway) fireplace and tan%26amp;brown carpet shagish carpet. I thought it would be cool to work with that and create ';Contemporarized 70's'; using a nice deep tourquoise on two walls as accents and chocolate brown on the couches with bright yellow and white accents. But he's not going for it, and all he'll say is he doesn't think it would look good with the carpet. I'm thinking of doing the Behr website thing where they take your digital pics and show you what it would look like with the color you pic, but what if that doesn't work? What's the best way to convince my husband to let me paint 2 walls in our new place turquoise, besides sex?
Buy the sample pouch and paint one wall and hang ur wall art and show him. Or buy cheap tuirquoise wall paper and hang it with take to give him an idea of how it will look,..............................if that fails, use FOOD.What's the best way to convince my husband to let me paint 2 walls in our new place turquoise, besides sex?
shure fix... tell him the extra coat will raise the r factor
if he's the cautious with money type, buy the paint.. It's not like it can be returned... I know my hubby would prefer to paint the room than let the paint go to waste! It worked when I wanted a yellow kitchen, and in the end, he liked it so much that he lets me paint any room any color I want now! =)
do it when he gone have done before he gets back can always redo
Pick what you want and try it. You can always paint over it if does not work. And tell your husband you will do the painting.
A little sex might get you all four. Give it up.

What about telling him that you have pictured in your mind how it will look and you feel motivated about painting the walls that color because you will feel more creative and relaxed and comfortable. I think that will work. That's what I would say if I were in your situation and the ';It will look pretty'; is not working anymore, lol! Good luck!
Just do it.

I always tell my husband what I am going to do ahead of time and he never gets it, but I do it anyways and he is always pleasantly surprised, it's just that he is not as good at picturing the end product. I bet he thinks turquoise will look to girly, so keep his style in mind too. As long as money or something else isn't an issue...it's only paint, if he hates it let him pick the replacement colour...he probably wont be bothered to.
Offer him to paint the other walls ... plus any ceiling in your apartment.......this will evens up everything. Then the two of you enjoy sex till dawn!
