I have my room painted with latex paint and it is peeling off. I don't know if the paint below it is oil based or not. I have decided to just remove it, by peeling the rest of it off. At first it was peeling in big chunks and now not so much. Is there an easier/faster way to do this? I have tried scraping it with a putty knife but it didn't really work.Latex paint peeling off interior walls.?
a heat gun will help you get the rest of it off. then apply a liquid sander to the old paint and a good primer. the new paint didn't stick because the wall was to smooth. paint needs a semi rough finish to adhere too
