What colour should i paint my walls?

i am re-doing my room and right now i have just white walls and beige carpet. i am getting this bead spread:

i am also getting dark purple carpet but i dont know what colour walls i should get. just no pink. at all. so if you have any suggestions then thanks..What colour should i paint my walls?
Remember a dark colour will give the impression of making the room appear smaller. Try a pastel colour with possibly turning one of the walls into a feature wall with a stronger colour.What colour should i paint my walls?
I think a lavender like the color of the headboard or a gray would look nice.
I would either go with a light purple wall or maybe even a blue wall. But not colors too dark, because you have a dark comforter and are getting a dark rug and that will just be a bit overwhelming. Cute choice for a comforter though :)

I would go with a very light gray or pewter color. Gray/pewter walls combined with your purple carpet/bedspread will compliment each other and create a nice bedroom environment for you. Good luck with your new room!
