What color should I paint the walls in a small house?

My husband and I are moving into a small 3 bedroom house. We are going to be painting the walls. It has small - medium rooms from the kitchen , living rooms and the bathroom and bedrooms. I have a green suede couch and loveseat. The eat in litchen can be seen from the living room. To try to keep this short what is a good color to paint the walls in the kitchen/living room that will blend well with my furniture and make it look larger. Also what is a good calming, relaxing color that would look good in the bedrooms to make it look bright and larger?What color should I paint the walls in a small house?
When rooms are small, of course stay away from darker shades and colors.

Bedroom: Greens and blues are calming and serene

Living: Depending on the shade of green couch, maybe a complimentary taupe or camel.

Kitchen %26amp; Eat-in: I like vibrant colors in the kitchen, so go with your likes in here. The only bit of advice I've heard is do not go with yellow in a kitchen. The color in a kitchen causes aggravation and tension among couples.

White or almost white. A woman can say ';I don't like green,'; or, ';I don't like blue,'; or ';I don't like pink.'; or, ';I don't like beige.'; or ';I don't like purple,'; but it sounds foolish to say, ';I don't like white.';

Happy Decorating!
try a lite lite green or grayish white or for something unique BLACK.
think of it this way black makes you look smaller and white makes you look bigger! same concept for the walls!!! try going with a beige
First of all, I would keep most of the rooms the same color so as not to chop it up and make it appear smaller than it is. Sherwin Williams has a line of paints called Illumenescence that reflect lots of light and arent' ';muddy';, but clear and crisp. Look at these. A very soft shade of yellow would look good. ';Corona'; and ';French Vanilla'; and ';Paper White'; would all look good with white trim. In your bedroom, choose a shade from the same line..perhaps a periwinkle!

';
blue
we have went with a soft beige. At Lowe's they have the paint paper samples that have 3 colors on the card. Using 2 or 3 colors of the 3 colors allows for the room to flow and it makes it seem larger. Looks beautiful!
Dear wondering,

i would try off white,or eggshell white, some type of neutral color, light beige, you need something that can go with any type of furniture,, already been there!! turned out better than what i thought! good luck!
