What color do i need to paint the walls and will my furniture go with the color?

We have a open kitchen/dining and living room.I have a glass diing table with steel legs and balck chaits with steel rims and legs. but we are planin to buy leather sofas that go weel with same coffee table (galls top with balck legs)..could any suggest the color for the walls of my kitachen dining and living room ..Also do i need to change the dinign table to go along with the marron or tan colored leather sofas...What color do i need to paint the walls and will my furniture go with the color?
