I'm remodeling my bathroom and need help with the paint color i can put on the walls!!?

I am in the process of remodeling my bathroom and need help with the paint color. The tile i have on the floor is blue/gray and the cabinets are oak. I don't want the bathroom to look too dark and small so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Here is the tile i have on my bathroom floor

I'd go with med. or light blue,,,,then use another color in your accessories to add some punch to the mix like; yellow or burnt orange.

chosing darker paint doesn't always mean you make the room look small.. bc it can look dramatic and actually bring in depth etc.

It's easier to pick out color when you know what look you're going for, if it matters at all to you; like spa feel, oriental, contemporary, vintage, cottage, etc.

I don't think it really matters what color of tile you have chose the paint. If you really do care about making the room not feel closed in, have you considered stripes? Check out younghouselove.com pictures of their home and their bathroom.

Any tanish color would look good, or even stripes of a bit off white with cream, or tan.

I wouldn't do green walls, or a blue that will blend in with the tile either.

yellow would look good as well though.
Your floor gives you a neutral color to work with. Light yellow, light blue, light peach. Teal blue shades would look great too. Really, your options are wide open with that type of floor.
Try:

pink, rose

coral, peach

banana or lemon yellow

sage, celery, lime green

aqua, turquoise, teal

powder or sky blue, OR

lavender or orchid
Seeing as most bathrooms don't have sufficient light, try something light. White
