How would you match a comforter set to the color you want to paint your walls?

Ok so I'm redoing my room finally. It's been the same since I was 7 (i'm 16 lol). I'm kinda new at this whole redecorating thing. I really like these two victoria secret comforter sets %26amp; I love the color purple but I don't think that would work on my walls. Just please help me match something together! I open to any new ideas. If have any suggestions to what colors would match nicely with the sets, or if you any suggestions about new sets in general, feel free to let me know. Thank you :)

I think you are on the right tract with picking out your bedding first and then deciding on your wall color. For the blue set, you could try painting one wall the same color gold that is in the bedspread. Have that be the wall that your bed is up against. I think that would look good.


For the fuchsia bedding, you could paint one wall a light pink. I think white, fuchsia and black go good together.





There are two sites I think have some cute teen ideas: pbteens.com and teensthemes.com. They give you different ideas for accessories, color combinations, etc.





You should put things in your room that represent you - your hobbies, things about your friends, pets, school, family, etc. You want it to be a place that is pleasant and relaxing. Create a focal point on one wall with items that represent your interests (ie., staggered shelves with stuff you like, a bunch of picture frames with your favorite photos, etc.).
