How do you get crayon off walls with flat paint?

My daughter drew all over the walls in her room and I need to get it off quickly! Unfortunately the walls are not painted with semi-gloss paint, its flat paint and when I tried using baking soda to get it off the paint started coming off too!! Is there a way to get it off the walls without taking off the paint in the process? How do you get crayon off walls with flat paint?
I have had this problem numerous times. I have four kids and every one of them has done this.

Flat paint is terrible for a child's room. Use the Mr. Clean magic erasers. They will work great at removing the crayon, but may take a bit of the paint off. Rub as gently as possible to minimize the paint loss. If it's a huge crayon mess, buy at least two (4 ct) boxes of the erasers. Keep rinsing them and use them until they crumble.

Other than that, you can paint over the crayon with Kilz primer (one or two coats should do the trick) and then paint over it with semi-gloss paint. I have semi-gloss in my little one's room now and removing crayon is sooo much easier. Of course, if you rent, you should probably ask permission from the landlord before you paint. I bet if you supply the paint, he/she will not have a problem with it. Good luck!!

Btw, don't waste your time with goo gone. It's a good product, but for removing crayon on a wall with flat paint, is a huge headache. Been there, done that. Goo gone is great for removing gum from carpet and sticky stuff from other surfaces, however. There is also a gel spray version of the stuff that is awesome. Just not for crayon on flat paint. How do you get crayon off walls with flat paint?
Remove with Goo Gone. It can be bought in hardware and food stores.

Hi

What happens is the crayon seeps into the paint...additionally crayons are an oil based product. So windex will not go deep enough. A light sand paper might do the trick.

S1lent
try a mr. clean magic eraser. My mom used that when we were growing up and it seemed to work on every surface. My little bro was a budding artist :)
Nail polish remover or windex or jus paint over it lol
Magic eraser!
Paint paint over paint
